Open Garden Days
June 16, 17, 18
A unique opportunity!to visit a variety of canal gardens that are normally closed 
to the public. It really is the city's best kept secret, because they are not 
visible from the streets. Around 25 canal gardens - nowadays still part of a private 
house or belonging to an institution - will open to the public during the Open 
Garden Days 2023.

Red Light Jazz Festival
June 9, 10 and 11
The popular jazz festival with (mostly) free performances takes place for the 10th 
time this year! Enjoy a concert at places like Casa Rosso, the Palace of Melancholy 
and Tobacco Theater.

Red Light District Open Days 
June 2023
Red Light District have their annual open days so the public can get a look 
behind the scenes in their cosy neighbourhood. Enjoy live performances, take 
a pole dance workshop at the Bananenbar or listen to a lecture by Rob van Hulst 
at Casa Rosso. The program and all locations are on a handy map that is available 
free of charge at the participating locations.

Canal Festival
August 11 to 20.
During the Canal Festival young musicians from all over the world surprise you 
with their own musical story. Everytime at a different location in Amsterdam. 
For example at Artis (ZOO), Hermitage Museum, Prinsengracht etc.

Gay Pride Canal Parade
July 29 to August 6.
Amsterdam Gay Pride is no longer just a day. More than a week of festivites but 
the famous boat parade will take place on August 6 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. 
The colorful boats start at Oosterdok and sail via the Nieuwe Herengracht, 
the Amstel and the Prinsengracht to the Westerdok.
